Perry HADDOCK

Bold Brushwork - En Plein Air

Shelley Garries - Gallery 204.jpg

Perry Haddock is an award-winning professional artist who now paints from his home in Surrey after a long career in education in Langley. Well known for his colourful and loose acrylic landscapes, he has earned senior (SFCA) status with the Federation of Canadian Artists, and been represented by numerous prestigious galleries both locally and nationally.

Dominated by lively accents and bold brushwork, his paintings have a fresh, spontaneous appeal which reflects his love of being outdoors,  painting en plein air.  For larger pieces, his sketches and on-site photos provide visceral reminders of the plein air experience, so that the studio pieces retain the freshness of their smaller studies.

A popular workshop leader, Perry has shared his love of painting with dozens of artists, and is happy to engage in art conversations and share his experience at the drop of the proverbial hat.

Perry is pleased to be asked to join the other fine artists represented by Gallery 204, and invites Langley and Fraser Valley art lovers to drop by the gallery to see his work.
