Keepsake Treasures

Vaughn Erickson.jpg

As a young boy in Saskatchewan, Vaughn Erickson was enamoured with the work of local craftsmen who created beautiful yet functional items for life on the farm.

His career as a woodworker was set in motion at age of ten when he received a scroll saw kit as a gift. In the years following, he studied furniture building and millwork, and started building his collection of specialised tools which allowed him to build everything from cribs to cabinets.

As his experience and passion grew, his unique style began to emerge, and an artist was born. During this evolution, Vaughn’s pieces became smaller, more personal, highly intricate and infused with a sense of joy that is the hallmark of his creations to this day.
